It’s hard to imagine that August 7, 2009, the date of this year’s Brad Fleming Memorial Golf Tournament marks the five year & five day anniversary of Brad’s tragic death.  Since that wet, summer, Monday evening; much has happened in each of our lives.

 

Most of Brad’s friends have transitioned from their teenage years.  Many are anticipating college graduation and are preparing for adulthood as they turn 21 years of age.

 

The 5^th annual Brad Fleming Memorial Golf Tournament is experiencing exciting changes as well.  This year’s event will be held at Nansemond River Golf Club in Suffolk VA and we are very excited about the new venue.  Although this course is billed as “the region’s premier waterfront golf course”, we have elected to keep the fees the same as 2008.

 

Most importantly, because of your support and generosity, nearly $50,000 has been raised over the last five years in Brad’s memory, with all of the proceeds benefiting a graduating student athlete at Great Bridge High School.

 

Thank you for success of the previous five years and we look forward to your partnership as we grow this event over the next five years.
